The one thing we love more than anything else is seeing how our talented clients use our products in different and unique ways! We live for the tags on Instagram, the shared photos on Facebook and the emails we receive that showcase how people have used our products at their events. Whether it’s a birthday party, a wedding or a corporate event, we’re constantly amazed at how our clients transform a group of products in to a stylized design like no other.
These amazing photos that our clients share with us were the inspiration for our  “Who Partied Best” Photo Contest. We asked our clients to submit their most stunning event photos for the chance to win a $500 cash gift card. We were overwhelmed with the amount of entries and feedback we received, not to mention the gorgeous photos! However, it was not going to be up to us to decide on a winner. Knowing that we would have such a difficult time choosing, we posted all the photos on our “Who Partied Best” Photo Contest page and asked our fans and followers to vote to decide the winner. Well, the votes have been tallied and the winning photo belongs to Matt Murphy of Matt Murphy Event Lighting! Congratulations, the event looked beautiful!
Matt, an industry professional of fifteen years, worked alongside planner Francesca Abbracciamento, floral designer Frank Alexander, Cobblestone Catering, and Starr Tent to provide the event lighting for a wedding at a private home. With the goal of creating a “light, summery, pristine feel”, Matt looked straight to Party Rental Ltd. products for his inspiration. And the biggest inspiration came from our clear Miro Chair. “The team wanted to continue with that glassy shine right up to the ceiling. So we decided on stringing bistro lights on white wire with clear glass bulbs, and then we peppered in some over-sized clear glass bulbs to get that added sparkle,” said Matt about how he achieved that look.
The Cassis Country tables were used to tie the look together. “The client also chose the Cassis tables which are light colored and remind me of driftwood. These table looked so great under the lighting and helped me to achieve that organic feel I was seeking. A darker table would not have worked as well,” Matt said. We’re inclined to agree!
