On Location | 123 South Broad Street, Philadelphia

Located in the heart of Philadephia’s downtown area, 123 South Broad is an iconic landmark that served as the city’s tallest building for several years. The 28-story building was designed by the renowned architectural firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst & White, and was originally constructed as the headquarters for the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society.

Today, 123 South Broad is not only home to our Philadelphia Design Studio, but also a variety of businesses including law firms, financial companies, and non-profit organizations. The front facade and the interior spaces were the headquarters of Duke and Duke in the 1983 film “Trading Places” starring Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy.

One of the most striking features of 123 South Broad Street is its sleek, geometric design. In recent years, 123 South Broad Street has undergone a major renovation to restore many of its original Art Deco features and to update the building’s systems to modern standards. The renovation has ensured that the building will continue to be a landmark in Philadelphia for many years to come.
