The Morgan Library & Museum stands as a cultural jewel in the heart of Manhattan, boasting an illustrious collection that intertwines art, literature, and history. This iconic institution was originally the private library of financier J. Pierpont Morgan, a haven for his extensive collection of rare books, manuscripts, and artwork.
Built between 1902 and 1906, the Morgan Library’s architectural magnificence reflects the Gilded Age and boasts handsomely renovated period rooms, an elegant 264-seat performance hall, a 75-seat education center, and a glass-enclosed central court. Complemented by numerous art galleries and welcoming public amenities, these spaces provide a striking backdrop for private functions, corporate celebrations, board meetings, presentations, and conferences.
The Morgan Café
With its soaring ceilings and abundance of natural light, the glass-enclosed Morgan Café offers a casual dining atmosphere in the central court, evoking European alfresco dining.
