With its beautiful setting and rich history, it’s no wonder that this iconic New York City landmark has been a popular venue for weddings and special occasions since the 1930s. Known for its stunning location in Central Park, Taven on the Green is surrounded by lush greenery and is a short walk from some of the park’s most popular attractions, including the Central Park Carousel, Strawberry Fields, and Bethesda Terrace.
Over the years, Tavern on the Green has undergone several renovations and expansions, but it has always maintained its charm and character. Today, the restaurant boasts two outdoor dining areas and a beautiful indoor dining room that is adorned with crystal chandeliers and stained glass windows.
The South Atrium is fitted with spotlights and crystal chandeliers to create the ideal atmosphere for any season. Together with the Event Team at Tavern on the Green, Keiko Sellis, and Yoke Media, we set the scene for a celebratory luncheon using pops of color against the moody backdrop of bare branches against the winter sky.
